Loose leaf atlas is a collection of wooden goods hand crafted by Kait Pelletier in her small studio in Vancouver, BC. It was started in 2020.
Kait has a background in landscape architecture and is currently practicing in Vancouver. She is also a self-taught wood worker who has found a passion for design at the intimate scale of wood and object. She is fascinated by how an idea in your head can manifest into an object in your hands after a few hours in the studio.
Loose leaf atlas was founded on the idea to source high quality wood waste from backwoods logging sites to urban streets. With an intention to eventually work with the material from site to studio, Kait currently also sources pre-dried and cut wood from local and ethical sources.
