Retrobound | Furniture

Dane​ is a Vancouver based artist and industrial designer working under the name Retrobound. His pursuit of making things found him getting a design degree early in life, before venturing out of the country to explore robotics and engineering for almost a decade, and returning to Canada in 2014 to begin his journey as a free agent and discover the inner artist.

His expression shows up as sculptural furniture and lighting, often inspired by vintage styles, and infused with modern tech and fabrication methods. His professional designs can be seen on shows like The Flash and Deadpool 2, while his art furniture has been exhibited at IDS West, IDS Toronto, Crafted Vancouver, and hosted by Kozai Modern, Grove Front Gallery, Gryphon Gallery, and published in the Edmonton Journal, EnRoute Canada & Interiors Korea.
