Sitkas & Seas | Prints

Jennifer Alton is a Vancouver local in British Columbia, spending a majority of her life on Vancouver Island. She began her love of BC's nature at a young age, with her father teaching her to have an appreciation of sustainability, conservation and wildlife restoration. Her love of drawing merged with her admiration of the forests and the natural beauty that BC has, through which Sitkas & Seas was created.

Her pieces are created when she is among nature, exploring unfamiliar areas along the coast of BC, capturing unique trees with character and imperfections. She then creates beautiful and minimalistic renditions of the trees that stand before her. Jennifer primarily works with Ink and dry brushes, she includes digital elements that bring a uniqueness to her work. 

She hopes that she can make the elegance of BC's beauty a strong and prominent feature in all of her pieces.
