Coastal Recollections

This elegant and whimsical acrylic painting captures the beauty of the Vancouver coast, the sea and sky, in it's abstract and expressive brushstrokes and sense of flow.  It embodies a juxtaposition with the soft and elegant, layered pastel tones of the implied clouds against the more saturated, vibrant tones in the more textural "land" masses and sea. The sides are painted in a coordinating light blue colour.
