This Douglas Fir was captured while exploring the interior Vancouver Island. I stopped and bagn to draw, capturing the imperfections that make this tree so beautiful. Douglas Firs are known for their strength and durability, and able to withstand the strongest storms. Ink created on cold pressed watercolour, reprinted on recycled paper.
