Sea to Sky

This piece is inspired by the Nature and coastal scenic beauty in Vancouver and the surrounding areas. I have aimed to capture an abstract, stylized version of the sea and sky, playing out the movement and shapes in vibrant, feminine tones for an upbeat and airy aesthetic. By choosing a primarily pastel palette in textural, free-flowing acrylic brushstrokes, with the addition of gold leafing for added visual interest and "glam",  this piece would be suitable for many clients, looking for a cheerful art piece for their main living areas, a soft but whimsical addition to a child's nursery or an office, etc. The sides are painted a coordinating blue colour.
